Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Develop and monitor budgets and cash flow projections. Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Ensure compliance with donor and internal financial guidelines. Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors. Oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the office. Manage procurement of goods and services following internal procedures. Maintain inventory and asset records. Ensure timely renewal of office contracts (rent, utilities, insurance, etc.). Organize and support internal and external meetings/events. Maintain HR records including attendance, leave, and personnel files. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum 3 years of experience in finance and administrative roles, preferably in the NGO or non-profit sector. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and MS Office. Familiarity with procurement and HR procedures. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience with donor-funded projects and reporting (e.g., UN, EU, USAID). Knowledge of local labor laws and tax regulations.
