Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Develop and monitor budgets and cash flow projections.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Ensure compliance with donor and internal financial guidelines.
- Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the office.
- Manage procurement of goods and services following internal procedures.
- Maintain inventory and asset records.
- Ensure timely renewal of office contracts (rent, utilities, insurance, etc.).
- Organize and support internal and external meetings/events.
- Maintain HR records, including attendance, leave, and personnel files.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance and administrative roles, preferably in the NGO or non-profit sector. -Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and MS Office.
- Familiarity with procurement and HR procedures.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with donor-funded projects and reporting (e.g., UN, EU, USAID).
- Knowledge of local labor laws and tax regulations.
- Fluency in [insert languages required, e.g., Nepali and English].
