Finance & Admin Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and cash flow projections.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with donor and internal financial guidelines.
  • Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the office.
  • Manage procurement of goods and services following internal procedures.
  • Maintain inventory and asset records.
  • Ensure timely renewal of office contracts (rent, utilities, insurance, etc.).
  • Organize and support internal and external meetings/events.
  • Maintain HR records, including attendance, leave, and personnel files.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance and administrative roles, preferably in the NGO or non-profit sector. -Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with procurement and HR procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with donor-funded projects and reporting (e.g., UN, EU, USAID).
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Fluency in [insert languages required, e.g., Nepali and English].
