On January 16, 2025, CAPN participated in the virtual launch of the Global Statelessness Fund as one of its inaugural grantee partners. This initiative brought together donors, stateless changemakers, and civil society leaders to support rights-based efforts to ensure citizenship rights for all. The event highlighted the pressing need for collective action to promote equal nationality rights. Speaking at the event, CAPN's Executive Director and Co-Founder, Deepti Gurung, emphasized the urgency of the issue and commitment to advocate for gender equal nationality rights.
