Following the successful Manifesto Dialogue 2026, the Citizenship Affected People's Network (CAPN) convened the Accountability Forum Debrief on 24 April 2026 to reflect on the dialogue's outcomes, assess its impact, and identify strategies for strengthening future collective advocacy. The event brought together members of the Accountability Forum—a coalition of 12 civil society organizations initiated by CAPN to promote democratic accountability, foster evidence-based policy dialogue, and strengthen collaboration between civil society and political actors.
The debrief focused on key lessons from the Manifesto Dialogue, emphasizing the importance of evidence-based advocacy, effective documentation, thematic engagement, and sustained follow-up to translate dialogue into meaningful action. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the Accountability Forum as a platform for coordinated advocacy, knowledge sharing, and advancing human rights, inclusive citizenship, and accountable governance in Nepal.
