For the first time, the Citizenship Affected People’s Network (CAPN), through its Sahayatri, successfully conducted three simultaneous school outreach programs across three different districts of Nepal on 15th May 2026, marking a significant milestone in the organization's community-based awareness efforts. The sessions were held at Mount Everest English Secondary School in Solukhumbu, Hill Point Secondary School in Pokhara, and Fusion Academy in Budhanilkantha, reaching a combined total of nearly 200 students. The outreach programs were led by CAPN’s Sahayatri, Ms. Shanti Tamang, Mr. Suraj Hazare Dahal, and Ms. Kyamuna Khadka, with CAPN team members present in each district to provide facilitation, coordination, and implementation support.

The interactive sessions focused on raising awareness about birth registration, legal identity, citizenship, and the importance of gender-equal nationality rights. Through discussions, activities, and experience-sharing, students explored the significance of legal documentation and its connection to accessing education, public services, and other fundamental rights. The initiative also marked CAPN’s first outreach program in the Himalayan region of Nepal, demonstrating the organization's growing capacity to implement simultaneous community outreach programs while empowering Sahayatri to lead advocacy and awareness efforts within their own communities.
