The Citizenship Affected People's Network (CAPN) had a four-day Strategic Planning Retreat from 9–12 July 2026 in partnership with the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (ISI). Bringing together CAPN's board members, management, and staff, the retreat provided a dedicated space to reflect on the organization's journey, revisit its purpose and strategic priorities, and collaboratively shape the foundation for CAPN's next strategic plan. Through facilitated discussions, participatory exercises, and group reflections, participants explored key themes including organizational values, strategic prioritization. The retreat reaffirmed CAPN's commitment to remaining a community-centred and values-driven organization that places affected individuals at the heart of its advocacy, programmes, and decision-making. It concluded with the development of an initial strategic framework and a roadmap for refining CAPN's next organizational strategy. CAPN extends its sincere appreciation to the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (ISI), for their facilitation, guidance, and continued strategic accompaniment in supporting the organization's long-term growth and impact.
