Between 25 Sep to 29 Oct, 2023, CAPN conducted five school outreach programs on “the Importance of Birth Registration” across three districts – Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur. The carefully crafted one-day events focused on emphasizing the importance of birth registration and fostering empathy for students facing registration challenges. A total of 187 students (94 females, 93 males) participated, engaging in interactive learning methods. This initiative was part of the international November campaign led by ISI (Institute of Statelessness and Inclusion) to celebrate “Childhood Statelessness and the Right to Education.” As a national partner, CAPN organized various activities, including an art competition, informative videos, and awarding medals and certificates to participants in each school.
