Individual case support is a key aspect of CAPN’s Safe Haven goal, led by Ms. Deepti Gurung, the Executive Director. She is actively involved in helping affected individuals understand their rights, explore legal options, and develop effective strategies to acquire citizenship. Ms. Gurung personally visits government authorities, speaks on behalf of individuals, and assists in gathering necessary documents. To date, she has supported over 100 cases. Despite being a challenging pro-bono initiative sustained solely by passion and willpower, CAPN aims to expand this support into a well-established para-legal program within the organization through collaborative partnerships with legal service providers in Nepal.
