CAPN conducted a five-day School Outreach Program on Children’s Rights to Identity and Education in December 2025 across schools in Godawari Municipality. The program was implemented at St. Xavier’s School, Godavari; Shree Patha Pradarshak School, Badhikhel; Kitini Secondary School, Dukuchhap; Shree Ganesh Secondary School, Dukuchhap; and Shree Devi Secondary School, Devichaur. The initiative aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of birth registration and legal identity as a foundation for accessing education and other fundamental rights. Over the five days, CAPN engaged students through interactive discussions, storytelling, and participatory learning activities. The sessions encouraged students to reflect on issues of identity, inclusion, and equality, while helping them understand how the absence of legal documentation can create barriers to education and opportunities later in life. The strong participation and curiosity shown by students across all schools reaffirmed the importance of introducing rights-based conversations at an early age. CAPN sincerely thanks all participating schools for their cooperation and support and remains committed to continuing school outreach initiatives as part of its broader efforts to promote children’s rights, legal identity, and inclusive citizenship.
