Strategic discussion with ISI

CAPN participated in a four-day strategic discussion meeting from September 5-8, 2024, at Nagarkot, Nepal, organized by the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (ISI) and Nationality for All (NFA). This meeting brought together allies committed to advancing gender-equal nationality rights, providing a valuable space for reflection, collaboration, and shared learning. It also served as a timely opportunity for CAPN to review its strategic plan, ensuring that all ongoing and future initiatives are deeply rooted in its core values of gender equality, dignity, and non-discrimination. Through discussions and mutual learning, CAPN explored ways to strengthen its capacity as a community-based organization, focusing on sustainable growth while remaining committed in its values and purpose. The discussions helped refine CAPN’s internal planning processes and resulted in actionable strategies that will guide our ongoing efforts to advocate for equal nationality rights in Nepal. This engagement marks another step in our commitment to strengthening collective advocacy and building a more inclusive and just society.
